We're in the middle of a big one right now. This is a 120,000 sq ft commercial flat roof restoration - and it's a great example of what a silicone roof coating can actually do for a building this size. No tear-off. No massive disruption to the business operating below. Just a systematic process that works from one end of the roof to the other.

Here's what was going on before we got started. The existing surface was weathered, worn down in spots, and showing the kind of stress points you'd expect on a roof this age. Problem areas around penetrations, flashing edges that had lost their seal, and surface degradation that was only going to get worse if left alone. A full replacement on a building this size is a massive undertaking - both in cost and downtime. A silicone restoration is the smarter path when the underlying structure is still sound.

The prep work is where this type of job is won or lost. We handled penetrations carefully - pulling old failed covers, replacing deteriorated decking underneath, and setting fresh units before sealing them back down tight. The flashing edges got a full silicone bead treatment, packed in thick to lock out water at every seam and termination point. That detail work around the edges and penetrations is what actually stops leaks. The coating itself just reinforces everything else.

We're proud to be doing this work alongside The Viking Capital Group, one of the top names in the commercial roofing industry. Getting to collaborate with contractors at that level pushes us to perform at our best - and it shows in the quality of work going down on this roof.

A silicone roof coating like this protects the membrane from UV breakdown, seals up problem areas that would otherwise turn into active leaks, and adds meaningful service life back to a roof that might otherwise be headed for replacement. For building owners and property managers, that's a real return on investment - especially at this scale. Our roof coatings and restorations work is built around exactly this kind of outcome.
